Prithviraj, who is excited about YRF’s Aurangzeb claims that stories about his Aiyyaa co-star Rani Mukerji recommending him to the banner doesn’t affect him. Prithviraj plays a cop in Atul Sabrawal’s
Aurangzeb. “The character is priority number two, but it should appeal to me as a film.
Aurangzeb for me is a right film as there is action and drama,” said Prithviraj.
When asked about his selection for the role, he said, “We were shooting for
Aiyyaa in Yash Raj studios and I got an offer for
Aurangzeb. That’s the only time I went for an audition. Audition didn’t get me nervous, but I didn’t know what to do. However, after it was done I got the offer and I took it up.”
On being asked about his way to handle stories which claim that it was Rani Mukerji, who recommended him to Yash Raj banner, Prithviraj claimed that he enjoys such rumours. “If people say Rani Mukerji recommended me than I have no issue. If someone says that then I enjoy that kind of news. I don’t mind people writing such stories,” concluded Prithviraj.
