I've become a true fan of the Bollywood movies: Florence Brudenell Bruce

The very blonde and beautiful Florence Brudenell Bruce, rumoured to be Prince Harry’s latest ex, was once Saif Ali Khan’s girl – in ‘Love Aaj Kal’!
Three years ago, we found a young blonde called Flee roaming around the fashion week in Delhi in October, looking vaguely interested, but mighty interesting.
As it turned out, she was Florence Brudenell Bruce, then 22, among the most promising models in the UK, and also one of the actors in Imtiaz Ali’s “Love Aaj Kal”, which was being shot in Delhi at the time.Flee, as she was popularly known, was doing a bit part (but a very sexy one) as Saif Ali Khan’s foreign girlfriend Jo, and was part of the catchy song “Twist”. Flee was no lost-in-the-crowd blonde even then. She was acknowledged as the face (and body) to watch out for in modelling in the UK, and was often in the news thanks to F1 driver Jensen Button, whom she had been seeing but had broken up with at the time. Since then, of course, Flee’s established herself in modelling, and hooked up and broken up with an even bigger name – Prince Harry. They met in June this year and were the hottest item in the tabloids for a while, but just a couple of months later, it was rumoured that Harry had moved on.
Back then, Flee had told us that she wasn’t unfamiliar with India. “My brother lived in India for a year about four years ago, and I love the country,” she’d said. “Earlier, I knew very little about Bollywood, but now I know quite a bit. I have seen the English versions of “Guru” and “Om Shanti Om”. But now, I have become a true fan of the movies here. I have also seen “Race” and I think Saif acted really well in it. He has been really helpful and it is interesting working with him because he knows the craft really well. It has been fascinating working in my first Bollywood movie so far,” she added.
She’d also told us the story of how she got the role in “Love Aaj Kal” - “I’d met Imtiaz in London while the auditions were going on,” she narrated. “I had gone to audition for the part of Saif’s girlfriend. When I went there, I hit it off with Imtiaz immediately. And then I went back for another casting and the next day, I got a call from India telling me that I’d got the role.”
Of course, Flee is now an established model in the UK and is looking to move to LA to try her hand at Hollywood. We’re sure she’ll be great at it – after all, she’s dumped an F1 champ, has been dumped by a prince, and has done a full-fledged Bollywood masala film!
