Italian filmmaker
Giuseppe Tornatore, who wrote and directed Cinema Paradiso (1988), a film about a young boy falling in love with cinema, will be visiting India this month. To celebrate the director’s work, a mini Tornatore retrospective will be organised, including the screenings of his cult classics including Cinema Paradiso (1988), Malèna (2000) and his documentary Ennio (2021). These screenings will be part of Italian film festival ‘Cinema Italian Style – Celebrating Tornatore And The Masters Of Italian Cinema.’ Talking about his visit, Giuseppe Tornatore says, “I am so happy to be coming to India.
