1x1 polls
Fact is, I have been appreciated for my role.

What roles are you looking at?

I want to try comedy as I’ve done enough of thrillers. And I’m not playing safe by doing only multi-starrers. I have a solo-hero release coming up.

How has your tryst with films been?

It’s been an eye-opener for me. I’ve worked the hard way and have been able to survive — that’s an achievement for an actor with a non-filmi background.

What’s the status of your relationship with Bipasha Basu?

Bipasha and I have split but, being mature individuals, we’re still friends. Its comfortable working with a co-star you know.

But your on-screen chemistry with Bipasha seems to be fading.

People felt we shared awesome chemistry in Raaz. Then, they saw us in Gunaah,Ishq Hai Tumse and now our latest release. I feel the novelty of our pairing is wearing off.

It works like this: if a film fares well, people love you; if it’s a flop, everything about it seems wrong.

What are your plans for the future?

I want to direct a film. Personally, I want three wives and lots of babies! I want to open an orphanage too.

Is your brother Santino also getting into films?

Santino is already doing Hollywood films and he intends to stick there.
