I want my children to be best actors: Shakti Kapoor

Actor Shakti Kapoor, who had a meeting with Laloo Yadav and drinking milk at his place, expressed his wish list, while he was last in Patna

Shakti Kapoor remains unchanged. When asked how he feels to be called a ‘Bad Boy’ he just laughs it off and says, “Well I feel very happy when my fans call me Bad Boy. Sometimes lagta hai ki that’s only what I want to hear.”
Not being seen in his signature negative roles these days, Shakti says, “These days negative roles are done by heroes.With the passage of time everything changes. Film industry has also changed, techniques have changed, actors have changed and characters have also changed What has not changed is Shakti Kapoor. Jab Allah meharban to gadha pehelwan,” said Shakti, while on his recent visit to Patna.
Patna is fantastic
Having a whale of a time in Patna, Kapoor says, “Patna crowd is enthusiastic. I love coming to the city and will come here whenever people call me.Bihar aao aur Laloo ji se na milo to phir Bihar aane ka koi matlab nahi banta.Bollywood respects Laloo Yadav. I would like to meet Laloo Prasad Yadavji once and drink milk at his place.
That apart, ask him if he feels there’s scope of a film industry in Bihar and he says, “Well it depends upon Nitish Kumar. He is doing good job. Bihar is changing and if the Chief Minister takes initiative for opening a Filmcity here, then definitely Bihari youths will get an opportunity to show their ability. There is huge talent and lots of scope in Bihar. Even my senior, and well known Bollywood actor Shatrughana Sinha belongs to Bihar. He has also done commentary in my play Aasman Se Gire Khajoor Pe Atke.Aanewale dino main Bollywood main Bihar ka hi jalwa hoga.”
The perfect dad
Shakti indeed is a proud dad with his daughter Shraddha already making a foray into Bollywood and following close is his son Siddhartha. Talking about his kids Shakti says, “Not only my daughter, my son Siddhartha is also entering the film industry. I want my children to be best actors in the film industry but everything depends on their luck and labour.” But Shakti has his platter full for the year with several films in hand. “I’m doing lots of movies this year. My upcoming movies include Paresanpur and No Exit.”
