In an interview, Jackie Shroff talked about the bond he shares with Anil Kapoor.

In an interview with us last year, Jackie Shroff shared that the song 'Tumse Mil Ke' attracted him to the movie. He added that his co-star Anil Kapoor made him listen to it and asked to meet the director, Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He said, "I thought a man who could make such beautiful music would make a beautiful film too. I heard the story of Parinda."

In the same interview, Jackie revealed that Anil used to come to Napean Sea Road in Mumbai to meet his then-girlfriend and now-wife, Sunita. The 'Khalnayak' actor added that the latter would hang around with him and his gang.

Jackie Shroff said that Anil used to love his pants and still likes them. The actor added that the latter's mother used to make "bhara hua karela" for him. He expressed that they are good friends, and hence, working with Kapoor in films like 'Parinda', 'Karma,' and 'Ram Lakhan', was not difficult.

He said, "In real life, he is my big brother, but on screen, I was his big brother. In real life he gives me advice, and in films, I give him advice."
