She’d rather say thatshe isn’t working in films, as she is busy earning money.
“I am too smart. I havetoo much pride. I can’t stand people laughing at me after they watch me ina role that doesn’t suit me.It really makes no sense. I’m contentwith the numerous stage shows, performances and appearances that are coming myway,” says the actress.
But with no films in herkitty, doesn’t she feel insecure about her career? “Not at all.I’ve been given only negative shades to play post my debut inPaap.I have certain things that others don’t have and I’m glad revellingin just them,” she says.
And what are they? “Mylooks. I can’t help but look sexy all the time. I don’t look Indianand I’m not cut out for those kind of roles,” she answers.
Ask her about beau, directorMohit Suri, and she says, “We are living life for now. Mohit tells me thatI’m quite the opposite of the ‘sexy cool chick’ image that Iexude. He’s surprised to see me bargaining even for Rs 50 at times. Weare justbacchas,I am 24 while he is 26. We are having fun together,” shelaughs.
