I auditioned for Delhi 6: Pooja Batra

When Pooja Batra walked the ramp for Rohit and Abhishek Kamra at the recently concluded VHIMW in Delhi, and it got everyone wondering where she had been all this while.
Well, the now LA-based actress quipped that she is busy bridging the gap between Hollywood and Bollywood (remember she brought Sylvester Stallone to act in Bollywood?). Is being married to a doctor boring, we asked.“See, doctors’ lives are very boring. Nobody comes in a happy state of mind to meet them; they are all troubled and depressed. But we both try to reach out to each other and understand each other’s needs and interests,” replied the actress with a smile.
But she has bid goodbye to acting, it seems. “No, not really. If there’s anything good coming my way, I am always ready. I had auditioned for “Delhi 6”, but things just didn’t work out that time,” was her reply. Pooja has also been working hard to keep herself fit all these years, despite being away from showbiz. “You have to stay young and look good to keep getting work, na. I also keep brushing my acting skills. I keep watch a lot of Hindi films and have also taken to acting classes recently,” she said. Acting classes.... any Hollywood break happening? “No dear. Whenever that happens, I will be the first person to take the mike and announce it. But till then, I won’t lie and say that there are lots of offers, and I’m still contemplating which project to pick up,” she laughed.
