The botox sure seems to have worked, as Rakhi is looking prettier and better groomed. Tell her that and she is quick to say, “Koi seekh ke nahi aata yahan. Main sab seekh rahi hoon.Ek bhavishyavani huyi hai that promises ki yeh saal super-duper hoga.” And what about the year gone by?
“I’ve started the year with forgiving people. Of course, I was angry when I lost Nach Baliye par gussa to sabhi ko aata hai na. Main moohfat hoon, maine chori ki hai ya kisi ka khoon kiya hai to kiya hai – mujhe God khilata hai. Isiliye main kisi ka band bajane se pehle darti nahi hoon. Main jwalamukhi hoon!”
And how does it feel to be counted amongst the people who matter in the industry? “I feel lucky and I am thankful to people. I’m working day and night to get where I am getting. It’s not easy work.”

All set to pull the leg of celebs on her soon-to-be-launched chat show on telly, Rakhi says, “Those who do something wrong are scared. In this show, I’ll fight for everybody – eveteasing, molestation etc. Mujhe koi badal nahi sakta, jo koshish karega woh khud badal jayega. And I forgive people who trouble me because my motto is, ‘Buri nazar wale, tera bhi bhala’. I am one of a kind. I will stay like this only. In fact, Lalu Prasad Yadav said in a show that one should be as straightforward as Rakhi.”
And what about shaadi? Rakhi says, “Not now. May be 2013 or later. I love my independence and I’m so busy at times that I don’t see my boyfriend Abhishek’s face for weeks but we both know that we are there for each other.”
