palash sen of euphoria speaks about his first film filhaal, his acting skills and the shift in career. what is filhaal all about? if you want me to give you a standard reply then it would be that filhaal is a film about relationships. what would your other reply be? it's a film that not only has a definite story but it has been done in the most sensitive manner.it is mainly about the friendship between tabu and sushmita's characters. then there are the two men in their lives and how their lives criss-cross. how much of a difference has this shift in career made to your life? honestly, it hasn't made any difference. i have already made my mark as not just a doctor but also as the front man of a very popular music group. in my own way, i am already a star, big or small doesn't matter. thanks to the fact that i am doctor, i have seen life as it is. i have seen the highs and the lows of life. i have realised that in the end, fame really doesn't matter. the reality of life is disease and death. everything else is make believe. so, nothing matters to me. nothing excites me. not even the fact that you were working with a national award-winning actress and ex-miss universe? no. and, the fact that you'll soon be a movie star? see, people have already accepted me as a singer and a doctor. if i do films, they would start seeing me as an actor. but that wouldn't mean that i am a good or a bad actor. probably, being a movie star might help me improve my brand equity. i would also be known as someone who is associated with both, good films and good music. how do you rate your self as an actor? you should ask meghna gulzar, the director of the film. all i can say is that i was very comfortable in front of the camera. the one thing that i have learnt about being an actor is that the more you act, the more greedy you get. after a point, one wants the best scenes, the best lines and wants to be in every frame. and all this is, of course, not possible. have you signed any more films? not for the moment. i want to know what people have to say about my performance. i will wait until the film is released.
