'I always wanted to make my debut in an issued-based film'
Strongly concerned over the issue of corruption in educational institutions, Abhishek Anand chose Chakradhaar as his debut because he felt it was the right launch for him.
He says “I always wanted to make my debut in an issued-based film. Through my film, I want to show that only hundred per cent literacy can root out corruption in universities. Education is every Indian’s birthright and people should not be deprived of it because of bhrashtachar (corruption)."
The film boasts of some heavy duty action scenes.

The actor excitedly says, “I have done some daredevil stunts in the film. Being a newcomer, I was pretty kicked about doing them. At the same time, I was nervous. What if they did not turn out as expected? In the end, the action scene turned out be engrossing.”
Abhishek says the transition of his character from Shravan to Pandit had him completely charged up. “It was a challenge for me to portray the role because it brought out a completely different shade to my character.”
Director Shakur Sir said, “The purpose of making this film is to put across the message that truth always wins.”Sir adds that with education being as crucial for youngsters, corruption only serves to mar its value. “While doing a thorough research on the subject, I read incidents of corruption in universities in UP and Bihar and thus felt all the more strongly to make the film on the subject.”
Presented by Sir JVM Movies Pvt Ltd, directed by Shakur Sir, Dharamprakash and produced by Bharat Anand, Chakradhaar hits the theatres today.
