About her debut she says, “I am from the south film industry. For me, the shift to OTT is like a bummer. For us a theatrical release is like a festival, a celebration where there is a 4 am show, people burst crackers etc. I would have loved to have a grand Bollywood debut. Things look low-key now. Everything was going well until the pandemic hit us.”

Even though, she has her reservations regarding the digital space that opened up during the lockdown, she also speaks about the bright side of it. “I think everybody has space on OTT. Here, the current market value of an actor doesn’t count, but characters and the story matters. Even if you have a 10 minute role, it is well remembered. Web shows have given a platform to so many actors. There are those who haven’t worked for so long, were on a sabbatical, and are making great comebacks through the medium,” she says.
