After a break of four months,
Huma Qureshi is finally back to work. The actress, who spent the lockdown in Mumbai along with her brother
Saqib Saleem, flew to UK last week to begin shoot on ‘Bell Bottom’. The film’s cast, which comprises
Akshay Kumar,
Lara Dutta, Huma and others, were seen at Mumbai Airport along with producers
Jackky Bhagnani and
Deepshikha Deshmukh and director
Ranjit M Tewari. The film will be shot in UK in a start-to-finish schedule over the next couple of months.
Vaani Kapoor will join the team after a couple of days. While Akshay was accompanied by wife Twinkle and children Aarav and Nitara, Lara was accompanied by husband Mahesh Bhupathi and their daughter Saira. The travellers were seen donning masks and face shields as they made their way inside the airport.
In an earlier interview, Huma had said that she was looking forward to resuming work. The entertainment industry had come to a standstill in March after the lockdown was implemented to curb the COVID-19 pandemic. Huma kept her followers updated on how she was spending her time during the lockdown by regularly sharing updates on her Instagram handle. Her most recent post is a poster of ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. She captioned it, ‘Remembering this day... What an experience @anuragkashyap10 !! Will always be my most special one... You have to direct me again soon!!! @nawazuddin._siddiqui ek aur film karte hain jaldi... Sab saath main... Also I’m too excited to shoot with #RajivRavi soon too for #Bellbottom #blessed #love #gratitude’
