Hrithik's film throws Barbara's out

My Brother’s wife, which stars Barbara Mori is releasing on the same day as Guzaarish that stars Hrithik Roshan- November 19.
Producer Jayantilala Gada was going to jointly distribute My Brother’s Wife. But Rakesh Roshan allegedly requested Mahesh Bhatt not to distribute the Barbara Mori starrer.
But Mahesh Bhatt said, “The deal fell through because it is not a commercially viable project for us.” When quizzed about Rakesh Roshan asking him not to distribute the film he said, “I don’t know the Roshans and since when has Mahesh Bhatt succumbed to pressure?”
Producer Jayantilal Gada however said, “Yes, we did approach Mahesh Bhatt.He liked the film and said, ‘agar mere naam se kisi ka bhala hota hai to kya bura hai?’ But the commercials did not work out with Mukesh Bhatt.”
