Hrithik Roshan opens up on working with Rajinikanth as a child-artist, says today I will realise the weight of that moment: 'Rajini sir would take the blame..'

Hrithik Roshan shared a nostalgic moment reminiscing his childhood experience with Rajinikanth while promoting the documentary 'The Roshans,' which showcases his family's cinematic legacy. He recalled how Rajinikanth supported him during film shoots when he made mistakes. Hrithik, now working on 'WAR 2,' also discussed his initial hesitation about the documentary.

Hrithik Roshan has shared screenspace with superstar Rajinikanth in a film titled 'Bhagwan Dada' which was produced by Rakesh Roshan. Hrithik who has completed 25 years in the industry is now gearing up for the re-release of his debut movie 'Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai'. Meanwhile, a documentary based on the life of the Roshans - which includes his grandfather, composer Roshan Lal Nagrath, his father Rakesh Roshan, uncle Rajesh Roshan and his own journey.

The trailer of this documentary, titled 'The Roshans' was launched at an event in the city. Hrithik who was present at the event revealed that when he first heard that about this documentary, he wasn't quite in the favour of it being made. He revealed that he's quite shy as a person and hence was not quite keen on this idea. However, he later was made to realise that this was not just about him, but the history of his family and the legacy which has been in Hindi cinema for over 75 years. Thus, he then agreed upon it.During this event, as a fun activity, the Roshans were showed some of their old photos and they shared some anecdotes on it. Hrithik was showed his childhood picture which Rajinikanth which was a still from the film 'Bhagwan Dada'.
Reacting to it, he said that as a child, he did not realise the importance of the moment or as a child he didn't know that's he's sharing space with such a legend.Hrithik added that today if he shared screen space with Rajinikanth, it would be very different. "I will be very different if today I share screen space with him. I will realize the burden and the weight of the moment that I am sharing screen space with him. But yes, recalling memories of working with him as a child, he was so, so gentle and so, so caring. Whenever I messed up a shot, my grandpa used to cut the shot. And Rajni sir used to take the blame. He would say, 'Sorry, sorry, sorry, my fault.' But it was my fault. Every single time I made a mistake. Rajni sir took the blame so that I, that child, would not get conscious.So it was incredible."At the moment, Hrithik is working on 'WAR 2', which sees him along with Jr NTR, Kiara Advani. It's directed by Ayan Mukerji.
