Reportedly, Singh, 74, who was released from the PMCH after a month-long treatment recently, was rushed back to the hospital again when his condition deteriorated on Thursday morning. Bollywood star Hrithik took to his social media handles and expressed his sadness on the demise of such a talent. He wrote, "Not many people know that yesterday we lost one of the biggest mathematicians that India produced in the modern era. Vashishtha Narayan Singh, born in a village in Bihar, solved some of the most difficult equations of

mathematics

. Deeply saddened by his demise."

Moreover, the super talented mathematician once worked at NASA and California University, did not get the respect from doctors and officials of the PMCH where he breathed his last. There were reports that his family complained of not getting an ambulance to carry his remains back home.
