Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani to shoot a romantic song for ‘War 2’ in Italy: Report

In the highly anticipated sequel War 2, Hrithik Roshan reprises his role as agent Kabir, now facing off against south superstar Jr NTR. The film introduces a fresh pairing of Hrithik with Kiara Advani, who will share the screen for the first time, adding excitement to the action-packed narrative. The production team is now gearing up for an exciting phase as they prepare to shoot a romantic song featuring Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani in Italy.
As the project progresses, director Ayan Mukerji is shifting the narrative from action to a more romantic tone, with plans to film the song starting September 18, as reported by Mid-day. The picturesque landscapes of Italy will serve as the backdrop for the new romantic number. Ayan and producer Aditya Chopra are exploring lesser-known, breathtaking locations within the region. An insider told the portal that the Italy schedule will last for approximately 15 days and Ayan plans to shoot a song for the first six days.

The romantic track, composed by Pritam, is being crafted on a grand scale, with filming set to take place in stunning locales such as Venice, Tuscany, Lake Como, Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and the Sorrento Peninsula. Following this musical interlude, the production will pivot back to action, capturing high-octane sequences and dramatic scenes before returning to India in early October.

In a bid to maintain the confidentiality of the shoot and prevent any leaks, the production team has taken significant measures. They have enlisted an extensive security detail of local Italian personnel to patrol the filming locations prior to the crew's arrival. This proactive approach aims to safeguard the images and scenes from being prematurely released to the public.
The sequel to War, which is set to hit theaters on August 14, 2025, promises a thrilling narrative. Addition of NTR Jr. is one of the film's most talked-about aspects and fans are equally excited. A source had revealed to Etimes last month that, “NTR Jr. is a huge pan India superstar, and Ayan knows that he has to play to the gallery by presenting him as a larger than life person in War 2. And Ayan is doing everything to achieve that. NTR Jr. will have a ferociously physical schedule starting August 18 in Mumbai. Not much is being spoken about the schedule, as everyone involved have been given strict instructions to not divulge anything."
