The man who has worked with the likes of Ajay Devgan, Kareena, and Saif, faced a tough time finding a star for his next film Blue Umbrella.
Yes, the star of the film is a little girl.
“I had a tough time finding the right girl for my central character, Biniya (played by debutante Shreya). I did not want to cast a metro kid for this role. The children in big towns show signs of strain on their face which comes from the hectic lifestyle that large cities demand. I wanted pure innocence. Shreya has those innocent and beautiful eyes you can’t miss,” says director-producer Vishal Bharadwaj.
