How Bhumi Pednekar shed 35 kg without a crash diet
Since her debut in 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha,' Bhumi Pednekar has impressed audiences not just with her acting but also with her dedication to each role. For her first film, she purposely gained over 30 kg, breaking the typical image of a Bollywood heroine.
Later, the actress lost more than 35 kg—without crash diets or extreme workouts. Instead, she focused on a balanced routine, staying healthy, and practicing self-care. Her transformation shows that real change comes with patience and the right mindset.
Pednekar’s fitness routine is down-to-earth and easy to relate to. In an interview with Vogue, she shared that her mornings usually begin with a nutritious breakfast that includes fruits and nuts, giving her energy for the day. After that, she goes for a run, which helps boost her mood, jumpstart her metabolism, and is great for her heart, bones, and joints.
