Singh’s candid admission comes at a time when he has begun rebuilding both his career and his personal life after a prolonged absence from the music industry.
During the conversation, Singh was also asked about the rap he wrote the fastest. He revealed, "High Mera Dil — I wrote it in 5 or 6 minutes, no flow created. Just delivered whatever came. Even today, when we perform it, people connect instantly."
Despite the darkness of those years, Honey Singh today appears calmer, wiser and more self-aware. In recent interviews, he has been both witty and reflective—an artist who has wrestled with inner turmoil and emerged with hard-earned clarity.
“What goes around comes around, I really believe that,” Singh said. “It took a lot of time for me to get out from where I was stuck. But I am back now.”
