Homi Adajania remembers a hilarious behind-the-scenes moment from Angrezi Medium

The highlight of the shooting of a film like Angrezi Medium for the team was an experience of working with Irrfan. Kareena Kapoor Khan in an earlier interview said that one of the reasons she did this film was because she was getting an opportunity to work with Irrfan. Even director Homi Adajania says that observing Irrfan itself was an experience. He is in awe of the chemistry between Irrfan and on-screen friend, played by Deepak Dobriyal.Sharing a behind-the-scenes anecdote, Homi says, “The equation between Irrfan and co-star Deepak Dobriyal is mind-blowing. I remember we were doing a drunk scene on a terrace, and the two actors did it in such a way that it went out to be a different script altogether (laughs). In the middle of this drunkenness, they started playing cricket. There is a method to their madness.” The film also stars Dimple Kapadia, who plays Kareena's mother. It also stars Radhika Madan who plays Irrfan's daughter. Angrezi Medium portrays the father-daughter bond, where a father goes all out to get his daughter's dreams fulfilled.
