Having worked in over 30 Hollywood projects including Hawaii Five-0, CSI: NY, Shoot The Hero among others, what inspired Samantha to turn towards Bollywood? She says, “Truth is that over the years I have met many people in the US, who encouraged me to come and explore Bollywood. I used to always meet Indian filmmakers and actors who used to come there. Upon my last visit to London, a mutual friend made me meet a leading female producer from Bollywood. I was attracted to take the meeting forward and so I am here. I really like working with female producers and directors and I wish there were more of us doing that job.”

A Bollywood buff, Samantha, enjoys watching Hindi films and has been a fan of movies like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, Mohenjo Daro, Sultan among others. About her picks she says, “Zindagi… had very relatable characters. This film had a very Bollywood and Indie-Hollywood vibe. I loved the performances of each of the actors in this one. Sultan had a mix of all….there was action, romance! In Mohenjo Daro, Hrithik looked so hot. Actually, he is so hot that anything he does I like to watch.”
