Hinglish film wows distributors at Cannes screening

The Hinglish film, 'Exotic Bride', featuring actors like Sanjay Mishra, Prem Chopra and Mansi Dovhal, received a standing ovation from distributors after its screening at Cannes Film Festival. Produced by Magic Entertainment Productions, the movie tells the story of a US-returned girl whose father (played by Chopra) has switched the groom on her wedding day.
Pleased with the response to her film, Mansi, who plays the protagonist, says, 'The greatest high in life is when your work gets appreciated.For me great work means doing what you love. It took us more than a year to see our film reach the completion stage. We worked hard in silence and want our success to make noise.'
The Hindi version, titled 'Shaadi Abhi Baaki Hai', is expected to release worldwide this October.
Ridhima Pai, a Miss India finalist who will be launched in the production company's next international venture, 'Kuch Nahi Hota Hai', was also spotted at the event.
