Himesh: Mr Latelateef!

Himesh Reshammiya was over two and half hours late for an appearance to promote his film Radio in Delhi. And while we killed time (loads of it), sipping chai and waiting for him, here are the reasons that were given explaining why Himesh and the others from the cast were taking so long.
Let���s start from the beginning. Ab you don���t expect film stars to arrive bang on time (unless it���s Amitabh Bachchan), so no one was complaining till about 11.30 am.Around noon, the questions began and so did the quirky answers. So many people covered for you Himesh, that for us, you were sort of omnipresent then ��� you were at Hauz Khas, Chanakyapuri, Adhchini and Munirka ��� all at the same time. Read on...
Q: Kab aa raha hai Himesh?
A: He���s at the Hauz Khas red light (the event was happening on Aurobindo Marg, near Adhchini). He should be here in five minutes.
Q: Where���s he staying?
A: At the Ashoka. He���s now at Chanakyapuri. Will be here any moment. Actually, unki flight delay ho gayi thi. We wanted him to stay at a hotel close by, but he refused to stay here, as the one closer was a four-star. He wanted a five-star.
Q:Okay, where has he reached now?
A: He���s stuck in the jam at Munirka, will take 15-20 minutes.
Q: Now?
A: Adhchini only.
And when Himesh came, he went around the venue for a dekko before addressing the media. When he did speak to the media, he said, ���I apologise for being late. I actually took five hours to reach Delhi from Mumbai.��� Sochenge tumhe maaf karen ki nahi...
