Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, who is part of this week’s release 'Article 15', hasn’t seen '
Kabir Singh' yet. And it’s not just because the actor has been busy with work. In fact, he had seen '
Arjun Reddy', and felt that it had a misplaced idea of masculinity. That's the reason he stayed away from 'Kabir Singh'.
Zeeshan believes that a person needs to have a sense of social responsibility. The Bollywood actor explained that the word ideology means a systematic collection of ideas.
He said, “
Aap kuch bhi kaam karenge, usme ideology jhalkegi.” Zeeshan further explained that it’s not about the character or the role an actor chooses. He admitted that he would love to play the character of Hitler in a film or other negative parts, but they don’t represent him. For the actor, it’s important to agree with the ideology of the film that he is a part of.
Speaking about his role in 'No One Killed Jessica', he said that though the character was negative, the film was talking about something he agreed with. The actor felt that the protagonist in 'Arjun Reddy' didn’t look like a lost cause, but like a hero. Though he hasn’t seen 'Kabir Singh', he did see the trailer of the Shahid Kapoor-starrer and it looked similar to him. The actor said, “
Mera bahut agreement nahi hai.”
