Here's why Aryan Khan doesn’t smile on camera; Raghav Juyal reveals, ‘He really likes it…’
Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, is stepping into directing with his first Netflix series, ‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’, set to release on September 18, 2025. Though he bears a strong resemblance to a young Shah Rukh, Aryan rarely smiles for photographers, unlike his famously cheerful father.
Raghav Juyal on Aryan’s camera smile
In a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Raghav explained that Aryan Khan has a phobia of smiling in front of the camera and prefers to keep an attitude. However, with his friends, he makes faces and shows a very childlike energy. Despite this, Aryan's habit of not smiling in front of the camera is something Raghav finds very good and appealing to girls as well. Raghav mentioned that he told Aryan he would make him laugh on camera one day, but Aryan refused, saying "no no bro don't do that." Whenever they meet, Raghav reminds him that he will definitely make him laugh. Meanwhile, co-star Lakshya noted that even if Aryan does smile, those photos never get released.
Cast and celebrity buzz
‘The Ba***ds of Bollywood’ features Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Bobby Deol, Sahher Bambba and Mona Singh. It also has special cameo appearances by Bollywood stars like Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. The show’s preview last month was attended by Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri Khan, and the cast and crew, creating a strong buzz. The trailer has further raised excitement, building high anticipation for the series. The six-episode series is set to release on Netflix on 18 September.
