appeared in the video where she revealed that she refused to meet Anmol for several months when they were in a relationship.
Speaking about it, Amrita's mother shared, "I had doubts and so many questions. I never ever wanted her to be with somebody from the industry, because it is very unpredictable, the life of an actor. That was my concern." She also said that she had reservations after she came to know that Anmol was also from the media.
Her mother further added, "Radio ka mujhe pata hi nahi tha ki woh kya hai, kaise hota hai, kya career hota hai, how stable they are in their work, nothing I knew. She said, ‘Mummy, at least meet up with him.’ I said I am not interested, I don’t want to even meet him." Amrita revealed that her mother didn't meet Anmol for a year. Anmol was fine with it as he wanted to give her time to think.

Anmol and Amrita got married in 2016 after dating for a long time. They welcomed their first baby boy in 2020.
