Here’s what Rajat Barmecha says on his film being premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival

Rajat Barmecha surprised everyone with his acting in his debut flick Udaan starring Ronit Roy. Recently, he also won praises for his new look where he’s given himself a makeover by hitting the gym. Ditching his chocolate boy image he has had a physical transformation and the actor can’t stop showing off his biceps and abs.
On the work front, the actor who now swears by healthy living, can’t stop grinning from ear-to-ear ever since the news of his new film set to have an international world premiere broke.Rajat’s next - the coming-of-age film Kacchey Limbu is set to have a World Premiere at the 47th Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in September 2022.
The film also stars Radhika Madan and Ayush Mehra and is a siblings drama. The actor says, “I am so grateful and humbled that our film will be premiered at such a prestigious platform. It is a film about dreams and hopes. It emphasises on self-discovery and why chasing timelines takes the whole joy out of living. It’s the kind of sweet film that will strike a chord with everyone, because we have all been there at some point in our lives.”

This isn’t the first time Rajat’s film is being screened internationally. One may recall that his debut film Udaan was screened at Cannes International Film Festival.
