'Hera Pheri 4': Fans aren't happy that Farhad Samji is directing the film; start a petition to replace the director of this Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal starrer

Akshay Kumar fans and fans of the 'Hera Pheri' franchise are very happy that the film is finally going on floors now. A picture of Akshay, Paresh Rawal and Suniel Shetty in their 'Hera Pheri' characters was out and it made everyone quite happy. Initially, Akshay wasn't supposed to do the film but everyone is now thrilled that he's a part of the project.

However, there's one thing which has irked them! Etimes had reported that Farhad Samji has replaced Anees Bazmee and will be directing the film.


Angry fans have now started a petition to replace Samji since the track record of his previous films hasn't been good. Fans feel that Samji would also not suit the style and tone of 'Hera Pheri' franchise.

On the platform Change.org, one of the angry fans created a petition whose description reads, “Clearly as the title suggests, we do not want Farhad Samji directing a classic film franchise such as Hera Pheri. His track record or previous films directed has not been satisfying for which the film Phir Hera Pheri needs a replacement.” 166 people have signed the petition.

One fan wrote, “He will ruin the legacy.” Another user wrote, “Saving Hera Pheri 3 is saving Indian cinema.”

Well, we wonder now if this will lead to the makers changing the director of the film. Meanwhile, the cast has just shot a promo for ‘Hera Pheri 4’ but the shoot will begin after three months. In an interview, Paresh Rawal has revealed that this time, Raju, Baburao and Shyam will be going international.
