Helpless Sonu Sood opens up about not being able to save those suffering from COVID-19: ‘Today I lost a few’

Actor Sonu Sood has been doing his best to extend help to the needy who has been hit hard by COVID-19. Amid this, he recently shared how helpless he gets when he is unable to save lives when asked for help.
On Sunday night, the actor took to his Twitter handle and wrote, “Losing a patient u have been trying to save, is nothing less than losing your own. It is so hard to face the family whose loved one u had promised to save.Today I lost a few. The families u were in touch with at least 10 times a day will lose touch forever. Feel helpless.”

Soon after this, fans rushed in to cheer Sonu up with positive comments. One user wrote, “Service to humanity is service to God. Let the love and light of the Kingdom radiate through you until all who look upon you shall be illumined by its reflection. Be as stars, brilliant and sparkling in the loftiness of their heavenly station. Real hero.” “Sir, I can not say exclusively that the birth & death are not in anyone's hands, since it is already known to everybody.But the news is utterly a bad one & tears won't stop whoever saw it. My deepest condolences to the families of deceased.Never give up on saving lives," added another.
However, this is not the only time that the actor was spotted heartbroken to see the ongoing situation. Although he has been working relentlessly to help people since last year by arranging medicines, oxygen supply, hospital beds and more, he once poured his heart out for people who lost loved ones due to lack of medicine or oxygen. He said in a tweet, “Anyone who has lost a loved one due to scarcity of Oxygen or an injection, will never be able to live in peace all their life. They will always live with a feeling that they failed to save their family. I want to tell them You didn't fail, We did”.
