Harshita Gaur: I’ve spent a lot of time in Hauz Khas Village
Sadda Haq actress Harshita Gaur has spent a lot of time in Hauz Khas Village during her college days. So, when we took the Delhi girl back to the place on her recent visit to the city, it was like a trip down memory lane for the actress. “It is always fun to come back to Delhi because this city is home. My parents still live here, my cousins are here. It’s like coming back to my pampered world – it’s my space, mera sheher. I have spent a lot of time in Hauz Khas Village. Main college ke time bahut aati thi yahan. We used to visit a cafe here and some of my fondest memories are from this place,” says Harshita.
The actress, who completed her schooling and graduation in Delhi, shares that she particularly misses the street food of the capital while living in Mumbai. “I really miss the street food of Delhi, whether it is chole bhature, dahi bhalle or chaat. In Delhi, you can get good street food anywhere. I love Hauz Khas, Defence Colony Market, Connaught Place and Pandara Road for Indian food. When I’m in the city, I love visiting Bangla Sahib, and there’s this rajma chawal and kadhi chawal wala behind the gurudwara where I go as well. Delhi is full of so many great eating joints. And Natraj ke dahi bhalle jo Chandni Chowk mein milte hain, those are the best I have ever had,” says the actress.
