Harnaaz Sandhu is starstruck by Priyanka Chopra as she visits Empire State Building

Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu is making most of her time in New York City as she took to her Instagram story and dropped a glimpse of her tour to the Empire State Building. Posing next to a picture of Priyanka Chopra, she is seen donning her gorgeous crown as she smiles while looking at the actress’s picture.
She captioned the moment, “Yesterday at Empire State building got starstruck by Priyanka Chopra.” Have a look:

PeeCee’s picture at the Empire State Building dates back to 2016 when she visited the iconic skyscraper to promote her series ‘Quantico.’
Previously, a news portal asked Harnaaz to pick a celebrity, whose biopic she would like to star in.Without thinking much, the diva took PeeCee’s name and said that the actress’ journey has always inspired her. She also went on to add that Priyanka ‘will keep inspiring millions’ just like herself.

Talking about inspiration, Harnaaz had previously told ETimes, “I got inspiration from Lara Dutta, Sushmita Sen and Priyanka Chopra, through them I realised that I want to inspire people the way they have been doing."
Harnaaz Sandhu from Punjab, represented India at the 70th Miss Universe 2021, held in Eilat, Israel, brought home the crown, 21 years after Lara Dutta won the title in 2000. Previously, the same title was bagged by Sushmita Sen.

Priyanka had praised Harnaaz for her big win on social media. “And the new Miss Universe is... Miss India," said the actress as she extended her congratulations to Harnaaz for bringing home the crown at the 70th Miss Universe pageant. Taking to her social media handles, the former Miss World, congratulated the 21-year-old saying, "Congratulations @HarnaazSandhu03… bringing the crown home after 21 years!".
