'Happy Diwali': Parents-to-be Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal wish fans with an adorable post

Parents-to-be Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif got into the festive cheer this Diwali, and sent out their warm wishesto fans in a cute post.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, a pregnant Katrina shared a photo of a diya in her hand while Vicky placed his hand underneath. The photo was shared with a simple caption that read, "Happy Diwali." Dad-to-be Vicky shared the same in a post on his handle and added a hug emoticon.



While the gorgeous mommy-to-be stayed away from the lense, Vicky was joined by his brother Sunny and dad Shyam Kaushal as they posed with sparklers on their balcony, revelling in the festive mood.

Baby on the way

The couple is eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child together. Katrina and Vicky announced the happy news just a month ago, posting a photo from their maternity shoot and a caption that read, “On our way to start the best chapter of our lives with hearts full of joy and gratitude.”

News of the actress' pregnancy comes 4 years after they tied the knot in a royal ceremony in Rajasthan. Although much about the pregnancy has been kept under wraps, reports suggest that the baby is expected to arrive soon.

Vicky on becoming a dad

In an interview with Yuvaa, the actor was asked about what he was most looking forward to about being a father. Vicky Kaushal said, “Just being a dad. Really looking forward to it. I think it’s a huge blessing and exciting times. Almost there, so fingers crossed. Mujhe lag raha hai main ghar se hi nahi nikalne wala hoon."

His comment sparked buzz that Katrina is expected to give birth in the coming days.

On the work front, the actor is currently busy filming director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next 'Love and War' that will see him reuniting with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
