In an interview with Midday, Katrina Kaif discussed her husband, Vicky Kaushal, highlighting both his acting prowess and their relationship. She affectionately referred to Vicky as an 'arthouse film buff', praising his exceptional talent as an actor. She said, “I tell him openly, ‘Baby, you are an arthouse film buff'. I think he is such an incredibly versatile actor and is so capable of doing incredible things.”

In her discussion with Mid Day, Katrina reflected on the dynamics that unfold when two families come together. She emphasized the effort required to merge both sides, acknowledging the complexity involved.

She mentioned, "The whole family, which is still in Punjab, who, of course, came to the wedding and who we all got to meet at the wedding, so first of all, it is two big families coming together. I come from a big family, right? I mean, I have six sisters, and there is this whole thing (Vicky's family), which was the most incredible thing to see at our wedding."

Once in a conversation with The Quint, Katrina shared that before she hosted the first Christmas lunch, none of Vicky's friends had attended one. She shared, “We had our first Christmas last year and I was asking everyone and all of Vicky’s friends that ‘have any of you been to a Christmas party before?’ And they were all saying ‘no, we have never been to a Christmas party before, this is our first Christmas lunch’. It is really nice. Now everyone really looks forward to it,”

During an Ask-me-anything session, Katrina Kaif was asked about her favorite aspect of being a 'Punjabi bahu'. She replied, “Dher saara pyaar & ghar ka bana hua sarso da saag aur makkiki roti with white makhan("Dher saara pyaar & ghar ka bana hua sarso da saag aur makkiki roti with white makhan (Lots of love & home-cooked mustard greens with cornmeal bread and white butter).”
