'Happy Bhag Jayegi' team soaks in the Independence Day spirit at Attari border

The team of the cross-cultural comedy, 'Happy Bhag Jayegi', recently visited the Indian jawans at Attari border (Punjab) and celebrated Independence Day with them. Given the cross-border angle of their movie, Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Jimmy Shergill, Ali Fazal, producers Krishika Lulla and Aanand L Rai and director Mudassar Aziz were excited that they could be a part of the famous flag-hoisting ceremony at Attari, thanks to their promotional events.
The huge crowd was ecstatic to have the 'Happy' team in their midst for the celebration and cheered for them from both sides of the border. Later, the stars met the jawans and clicked pictures with the country's real heroes.
Mudassar says, 'Times are not always happy with the neighbours, but the effort must never stop. Whether it's my film or any other medium, the common man of both the countries must be allowed space to interact and know one another. 'Happy Bhag Jayegi' is my conscious effort to say 'Yet again, India is willing to smile with you'Is Pakistan willing?'
