Two days after the launch of the trailer, the makers of
Arjun Kapoor and
Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Half Girlfriend’ have released the first song from the film. Titled ‘Baarish’, the soft number will make you reminisce about your college crush.
The song traces the blossoming romance between the lead actors in the backdrop of a prestigious Delhi college. The dreamy melody has Shraddha romancing the rains while Arjun can’t take his eyes off her.
Sung by Ash King and
Shashaa Tirupati, it is certainly the monsoon song of the year for all the romantics at heart. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi, ‘Baarish’ has been penned by
Arafat Mehmood
and Tanishk.
‘Half Girlfriend’, directed by
Mohit Suri, is an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s popular novel by the same name. The film is slated to release on May 19.
