Gurleen Chopra to play Chanda Kochhar in her upcoming movie

Actress Gurleen Chopra, who was last seen in the movie ‘Game Over’, is gearing up for her next. We hear it’s called ‘Chanda’ and it is based on the life of the bank MD and CEO, Chanda Kochhar. And Gurleen will be playing the role of Chanda, a strong, career-oriented woman and someone who is fiercely protective about her family. Talking about her experience of playing the role, the 29-year-old actress said, “All of us have worked very hard on Chanda.It is my very first time where I am depicting a real-life person who has such a rock-solid demeanor. I hope I have done justice to my character and hoping that all of you enjoy the film."
The movie will have actors like Pushpendra Tiwari and Aditya Verma playing pivotal roles. Produced by Manoj Nandwana, S. Akhileswaran and directed by Ajay Singh, Chanda wishes to convey a simple yet strong message to the audience that the society must look upon men and women as equals and should not discriminate amongst them on the basis of irrelevant parameters. The film is said to have a screening at the Goa Film Festival on November 28.
