Gulshan Devaiah confesses he is biased about Deepika Padukone: 'Woh mujhe achi lagti hai, Kuch galat mat bolna uske baare mein'

Gulshan Devaiah shared the screen with Deepika Padukone in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 2013 hit film 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela'. Recently, the actor openly confessed that he is biased toward Deepika and wants others to speak well of her.

In a recent interview with Filmygyan, Gulshan shared that Deepika was the first professional actor he worked with in the industry. The 'Bad Cop' actor described Deepika as a straightforward and friendly individual who maintains professional boundaries while creating a comfortable work environment. He acknowledged his personal bias due to her being from his city, Bangalore, and expressed strong admiration for her, emphasizing that she should not be spoken of negatively.


“Wo Bangalore se hai aur mere sheher se hai. Main pasand karta hoon. Mujhe achi lagti hai. Aap kuch galat mat bolna uske baare mein,” Gulshan emphasized. Fans could not stop praising and admitting how mannered Deepika Padukone is, as they filled the comment box with respect.

'Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela' also starred Ranveer Singh, Supriya Pathak, Richa Chadda, Sharad Kelkar, Barkha Bisht Sengupta, and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. Gulshan played a negative character in the film.

The actor had earlier revealed how passionate Deepika and Ranveer Singh were with each other in an old interview and Deepika and Ranveer are expecting their first child in September.

Deepika Padukone was last seen in Nag Ashwin's mega-hit film 'Kalki 2898 AD' with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan.
