' being leaked online, here comes some good news for fans of the franchise who had been waiting with bated breath for the third instalment to hit the silver screen. The news is that the film's
release
date has now been preponed
by a week
. Yes, you read that right. The film, which was earlier slated to release on July 22, will now release next Friday, July 15.
Earlier, when the Censor copy of 'Udta Punjab' got leaked, it had majorly affected the box office collection of the film. Fearing that similar thing could happen to their film, the makers of 'Great Grand Masti' have now decided to release their film a week prior to its initial release date. Veteran trade analyst Taran Adarsh too tweeted about the same saying, "#GreatGrandMasti to now release on 15th July."
Considering there is still more than a week for the film to hit the screens and the fact that it will have a gigantic competitor in 'Sultan' which released today and is expected to spell magic at the ticket counters, it would be interesting to see how 'Great Grand Masti' fares at the box office upon its release.
