Grammy-winning pop star Dua Lipa lands in India ahead of her concert in Mumbai; paparazzi's 'Dua mein yaad rakhna' comment goes viral

Grammy-winning sensation Dua Lipa has touched down in India, gearing up for her highly anticipated performance in Mumbai this weekend. The international pop icon was met with a flurry of excitement from paparazzi as she made her way out of the private airport in Mumbai on Thursday, sparking a buzz among fans and media alike.

Dua Lipa was spotted in a laid-back look, wearing a loose yellow shirt paired with black pyjamas, effortlessly blending comfort and style as she arrived in Mumbai.

As Dua Lipa exited the airport to head to her car, photographers eagerly cheered and called out her name, thrilled by her arrival. In a playful moment, when Dua didn’t pause for a pose, the paparazzi jokingly shouted, “Dua, Dua, Dua… Dua mein yaad rakhna," humorously referencing the iconic line from the song Channa Mereya in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.

Dua Lipa is in India to headline the Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) 2024 on November 30 at MMRDA, BKC, Mumbai. The event aims to combat hunger and malnutrition, supporting the global goal of Zero Hunger by 2030. It brings together artists, changemakers, and the public to raise awareness and funds.



This marks Dua Lipa’s second performance in India, following her debut at the 2019 OnePlus Music Festival in Navi Mumbai. Reflecting on her connection with the country, she shared fond memories, including spending the last days of 2023 in Rajasthan.

In an interview with Times of India, Dua expressed her love for India, mentioning that she always looks forward to visiting the country. She described India as beautiful and shared that she has many cherished memories from her trips. She also highlighted her excitement to reconnect with her fans through her shows, especially those she hasn't seen in a long time.
