Govinda's nephew Vinay Anand reacts to his divorce rumours with Sunita Ahuja: 'Filhal aisa lagta to nahi hai kuch hoga' - Exclusive

Reports surfaced earlier today suggesting that Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja may be heading for a divorce after 37 years of marriage. Unverified sources claimed that frequent disagreements and differing lifestyles have strained their relationship, potentially leading to an official split. However, the Ahuja family has yet to issue an official response.

ETimes reached out to Govinda's nephew, Vinay Anand, a well-known actor in Bhojpuri cinema, for his reaction. However, he refrained from commenting on the couple’s personal matters. "I don't know anything regarding their personal life, and I don't think I should comment on this. Something like this should not happen—I pray to God. Nobody in the family has discussed this with me, so I don't want to speak anything about the marriage of Govinda ji and Sunita ji. They both are adult enough to decide whatever they feel. Baki filhal aisa kuch hoga, aisa lagta to nahi hai," he told ETimes.

Amid these ongoing speculations, a source close to the family informed ETimes that Sunita had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but no further action has been taken since then. Addressing these reports, Govinda himself finally broke his silence. When contacted by ETimes, he stated, “These are only business talks going on… I am in the process of starting my films.”




Govinda’s manager, Shashi Sinha, also weighed in on the matter, explaining, “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain family members. There is nothing more to it. Govinda is focused on launching his film, and artists are visiting our office for the same. We are trying to resolve it.”

While Sunita and their daughter, Tina Ahuja, remained unavailable for comment, other family members, including Govinda’s niece Arti Singh, nephew Krushna Abhishek, and Kashmera Shah, have dismissed the reports as “baseless gossip.”



With no official confirmation from the couple, the truth about Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s relationship status remains uncertain.
