Govinda and Neelam’s old on-screen magic
In another news, the actress Neelam Kothari opened up about old rumours with 'Ilzaam ' actor.
Govinda and Neelam Kothari were one of the most loved pairs in Bollywood during the late 80s and early 90s. They acted together in hit films like Ilzaam and Love 86 in 1986. Their on-screen chemistry was so strong that it created many rumours about a real-life relationship. Their pairing was fresh, charming, and very popular among young fans back then.
Even after many years, these rumours still come back once in a while. Recently Neelam Kothari talked about this topic again during a podcast by Usha Kakade Productions. When the host asked her about the old gossip that she was once attracted to Govinda before she married Sameer Soni, Neelam looked surprised. She said in a very open manner, “O teri, who said this? Govinda ji bahut hi acchhe insaan hain, magar yeh jo sawaal hai, yeh sach nahi hai.” She made it very clear that the rumour was not true at all.
Neelam continued to explain her stand gently and clearly. She said, “He is a wonderful human being and we have done several hit films. But, this is not true. Sorry, sorry, but this isn’t true at all. There’s nothing between us.” She also said she has denied these rumours many times before but they keep coming back because of the popularity of their old films.
Govinda remains one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. Coming to the work front he was last seen in 'FryDay' which was released in 2018.
