Raaz Mahal actress Ridheima Tiwari was in Goa recently, chilling with her husband Jaskaran Singh. Goa Times caught with them and during a chat, she talks about her how she relaxes and binges on some great vegan and organic food.
"I read books, bask in the sun, go for bike rides, do club hopping, drink a lot of coconut water, walk bare feet on the sand, eat the best cuisines, write, stretch a little, cycle, sleep like a log, go for long walks and indulge in some good spas and massages .
We don't miss out on these cool beach shacks in Goa - each one offering a different vibe and mood with the kind of music they play. Food is exquisite. Coastal beach shack vibes can truly make one live the present moment fully , re-igniting- re-fuelling, re-energising the mind body and soul. Every creative mind craves for such getaways . I feel privileged to gift myself with the - true living essence - opting for wellness over chaos during such breaks."
Being total foodies, she says, "I am a vegetarian and my palate loves the taste of a blend of mixed cuisines. My husband loves fish and enjoys the staple fish curry rice in Goa. But we both love to experiment and explore new places for good taste. This time we discovered a new cafe in Arambol which serves awesome organic vegan food and some delicious detox juices. Besides that the resort we are staying served my husband some tasty seafood - prawns in butter garlic and I tried Mushroom Cafreal (Goan preparation) . Our regular favourite is a place in Calangute - where we go for Continental food . And last night we saved for burgers at Morjim. Dreadfully huge blue cheese burger is heavy Carb loading vacay routine for early diners like us," says excited Ridheima.
