'Ghoomer' star Saiyami Kher to feature in filmmaker Vikram Phadnis' directorial debut- Check details here

Saiyami Kher is all set for her very new project this year. Yes, you read that right! The 'Ghoomer' actress will be on board with an untitled drama directed by renowned designer-turned-filmmaker Vikram Phadnis. This upcoming venture has officially gone on floors, and Saiyami will be seen in a strong leading role. She will be seen sharing screen space with Vineet Kumar Singh and Tahir Raj Bhasin.

Saiyami took the picture from her first day on set along with a spiral-bound copy of the film’s script to her Instagram handle and penned, “And today every silent prayer finds its way home," followed by another heartfelt note that read, “New Year, New Beginning. As always, need all the wishes."




According to News18.com, Saiyami shared, “Couldn’t have asked for a better start to 2026. This film came to me at a very special time. The story resonated deeply with me, and I really am very grateful Vikram thought me worthy of this part. It’s a challenging role that requires emotional honesty, and I’m grateful to be starting the year with a project that excites me so much as an actor."

The actress made her acting debut with the Telugu film 'Rey' (2015) and went on to feature in Hindi films such as 'Mirzya' (2016), 'Mauli' (2018), 'Choked' (2020), 'Unpaused' (2020), '8 A.M. Metro' (2023), 'Ghoomer' (2023), 'Sharmajee Ki Beti' (2024), and 'Agni' (2024), along with the Telugu action thriller 'Wild Dog.' Alongside films, she has also been seen in popular streaming projects, including 'Special OPS,' 'Breathe: Into the Shadows,' and 'Faadu,' etc.
