Payal Ghosh made headlines today after she accused Anurag Kashyap of sexual misconduct. She alleged that Anurag forced himself on her. Her revelations alleged that Kashyap forced himself on her. Here's all you need to know about her.
Payal made her Bollywood debut in 2017 with 'Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi' a film where she played Paresh Rawal's daughter. The film also starred Vir Das and the late Rishi Kapoor.However, Payal made her acting debut in a telefilm in 2008 titled 'Sharpe's Peril'.
While her work in Bollywood is not that popular, she has worked in quite a few south films. She has mostly worked in Telugu films like 'Mr Rascal', 'Oosaravelli', 'Pranayam' and also in a Kannada film named 'Varshadhare'. Payal also appeared on the popular Tv show 'Saath Nibhaana Saatiya 2'.
After Payal's allegation, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media to express her support for the actress and even used a hashtag that said #ArrestAnuragKashyap.

The matter caught the attention of the Chairperson of National Commission for Women Rekha Sharma who quoted Payal's tweet and asked her to make a formal complaint. Payal agreed to do the same.
