They first crossed paths on the set of their debut film, ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’, which released in 2003, and that first meeting quietly set the stage for everything that followed. At first, impressions were mixed. A 16-year-old Genelia thought Riteish was arrogant, while he found her behavior unusual. That view changed quickly as they spent time together on set.




The film launched both their careers and sparked a friendship that soon deepened. Their chemistry was clear on and off screen, and both received early recognition in nominations and awards.
