Gauahar Khan reveals that a ‘big star’ made her uncomfortable: He wouldn’t let go of my hand

Gauahar Khan needs no introduction. A popular actress and public figure, Gauahar Khan has also done some modeling and VJ gigs during her salad days in the entertainment industry. In a recent interview with Bollywood Bubble, the actress opened up about an incident from when she was 18 years old, where she encountered a 'big star' who made her feel uneasy during an interview.

Though Gauahar Khan didn’t reveal the identity of the ‘diggaj personality’ or the profession, she revealed that the man held her hand throughout the conversation, and she felt extremely uncomfortable during the interview. She added that she felt awkward, and was thinking about how she could pull her hand out and that she had to sit throughout th entire interview, bearing it. She added that she was a huge fan of ‘his talent and work’ and didn't want to offend him.

Gauahar Khan also went on to reveal that after the shoot wrapped up, the star tried to ask for her number. Once the shoot wrapped up, her director noticed this and asked her to go to her room and stay locked in. Gauahar Khan recalled that though she didn’t know why the director instructed so, she followed it. Later, she came to know that the ‘star’ was asking for her number, and also enquiring where she was. According to Gauahar, the star was also upset that she didn’t meet him before leaving. During the interview, Gauahar stated that, back then she had wondered why it happened to her.

Meanwhile, Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar welcomed their baby boy earlier this year. They named their bundle of joy 'Zehaan'.


On the work front, Gauahar Khan will be soon hosting ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11’ with Rithvik Dhanjani.
