The makers of Gadar 2 are slowly and steadily setting up the base for the grand trailer launch which should take place in the next few weeks. The film is all set to release on 11th of August, Independence day weekend.
They recently released the second song Khairiyat. The song had an emotional Sunny Deol traveling on top of a bus crossing mountains and rivers while reading a letter, he’s praying to every god on his way to keep his son safe. On other hand Ameesha is seen getting emotional as she prays for her son’s safety. On the third front their son; played by Utkarsh; now all grown up, is remembering the happy times he spent with his parents.
Khairiyat is composed by Mithoon, written by Sayeed Quadri and sung by Arijit Singh.
A few weeks ago the makers also released the revamped version of Udd Ja Kaale Kaava and in no time the song began trending and it was used on multiple reels. The revamped version has been composed by Mithoon and he got the original singers Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik to croon this new version as well
The film was first supposed to clash with the Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, then Akshay Kumar also decided to come on the same date with OMG 2. But now Animal has shifted to December and it is still going to be a clash between Sunny Deol and Akshay Kumar. Gadar 2 is a sequel to the 2001 hit film Gadar- Ek Prem Katha.
