From 'Mili' to 'Bawaal': Janhvi Kapoor's stellar lineup of films

Janhvi Kapoor marked her debut with Shashank Khaitan's 'Dhadak' in 2018. She went on to star in films like 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl Gunjan Saxena', 'Roohi' and a short film titled 'Ghost Stories'. The actress received a lot of appreciation and love for her performance in 'Gunjan Saxena' and with that Janhvi proved her mettle.

Fans now can’t wait to watch her explore other genres and here's taking a look at Janhv's solid upcoming lineup of films.

Directed by Siddharth Sengupta, the film is produced by Aanand L Rai. It also stars Deepak Dobriyal, Meeta Vashishth and Neeraj Sood. The film is a remake of a Tamil film 'Kolamaavu Kokila' starring Nayanthara. Reportedly, the film will premiere on an OTT platform later this year.

With this film, Janhvi will be reuniting with Rajkummar Rao for the second time after 'Roohi'. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the cricket-themed movie is produced by Karan Johar. The film has been slated to hit the theatres in October 2022.

Janhvi Kapoor and Varun Dhawan will be sharing the screen space for the first time with 'Bawaal'. Fans are excited to watch this new pair on screen. Helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film team has already shot a few scenes in Lucknow. It will hit the theatres in April 2023.

'Mili' is a remake of a Malayalam movie titled 'Helen'. Boney Kapoor has produced the film and this is the first time they have worked together on a project. Helmed by Mathukutty Xavier, the film also features Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pahwa.

Janhvi Kapoor's 'Dostana 2' is helmed by Colin D'Cunha. However, after Kartik Aaryan backed out from the film due to creative differences, the release date of the flick has been postponed. Producer Karan Johar is yet to announce the replacement for Kartik. The film also features Laksh Lalwani. There were reports which also suggested that the film has been shelved, however, no official announcement has been made yet.
