From Kartik Aaryan in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ to Deepika Padukone in ‘Chhapaak’: Bollywood actors who sported school uniforms in movies

Bollywood actors leave no stone unturned when it comes to getting into the skin of the characters they are playing. Not only that, they have also very aptly adapted to the film’s narrative when it had shown their character going into a flashback right to their school or college days. In such cases, actors have gracefully donned school uniforms.

Be it, the latest Kartik Aaryan in ‘Love Aaj Kal’ to Deepika Padukone in ‘Chhapaak’ to Ranbir Kapoor in ‘Jagga Jasoos’, celebs have taken the challenge head-on and nailed it.

Here we give you a rundown of Bollywood actors who sported school uniforms in their movies.

2/6

Kartik Aaryan in ‘Love Aaj Kal’

Kartik Aaryan is all set to impress one and all in his upcoming Imtiaz Ali directorial, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ co-starring Sara Ali Khan. If the trailer of the movie is anything to go by, then the actor is seen playing a school going boy in what looks like a blast from the past.

Kartik had also taken to his Instagram handle to share a boomerang video with his co-star Arushi Sharma. In the video, Kartik and Arushi are seen dressed in a school uniform. Donning a white shirt and beige coloured pants, he looks dapper. His blue tie and black boots complete his schoolboy look.

3/6

Deepika Padukone in ‘Chhapaak’

Deepika Padukone impressed one and all with her last release, ‘Chhapaak’. The actress, who played the role of an acid attack survivour in the movie, was also seen sporting school uniform in the movie.

Donning a navy blue coloured kurti with a white dupatta, Deepika looked nothing less than a school-going kid in the picture. With her hair combed backward into a pony and her bag on her shoulder, she looks all set to go to school.

4/6

Amitabh Bachchan in ‘Paa’

Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan played the role of a 13-year-old boy who was suffering from Progeria. Big B is seen sporting a uniformed look in the movie. Dressed in a white shirt and an olive green tie along with matching sweater, Amitabh is seen looking nothing less than a kid.

His spectacles and school bag completed his overall schoolboy look.

5/6

Ranbir Kapoor in 'Jagga Jasoos'

Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’ co-starring Katrina Kaif failed to impress the audience and critics. However, if there was anything people loved and remember even today, it is Ranbir’s schoolboy look.

Donning a white tee and green and red sweater with the logo of the school on the right side, Ranbir Kapoor looked dapper as ever. His spectacled look complemented his overall get-up.

6/6

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja in 'Raanjhanaa'

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja starrer ‘Raanjhanaa’ was one of the most loved films of her career. The film also starred South actor Dhanush in the lead roles. Their love story in the film starts from when they were in school.

Sonam was seen sporting a white half-shirt and checkered tunic with ribbons in her braided hairs. Dhanush, on the other hand, was seen in a white shirt and navy blue pants.
